Professional Highlights
After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Florida State University in 2017, she was admitted to Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor and graduated in the top 10% of her class with Honors.
During her time at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, Carol worked as a paralegal for Berlin Law Firm, which helped her gain insight and prepared her to zealously represent injured workers as an attorney. Carol was the associate editor of Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, a Dean’s Fellow, Secretary of the Student Board Association, and President of the Hispanic Organization of Legal Advocates.
A firm believer in giving back to her community, Carol volunteers with Bay Area Legal by assisting pro se litigants in filling out family forms and translating for Spanish-speaking needing legal assistance. When she is not volunteering at Bay Area Legal, you can find her at the Humane Society in Tampa Bay helping translate for the veterinary department, walking dogs, and helping animals find their forever family.
In her spare time, she enjoys spinning, reading, figuring out why her plants won’t grow, and watching reruns of Shark Tank.
